Mr Glyn Howells is the Head of School of Computing, Business and Tourism. He has an MA in Physics from Jesus College, Oxford and a BSc in Computing from the Open University. More recently he gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Information technology from Liverpool University which was taught as an entirely online programme. He taught IT and Mathematics at two secondary schools before being appointed as a Senior Lecturer at Trinity. He has been involved in Computing and IT related projects for over 20 years, mainly in the area of educational applications. In 2001 he led on a project to produce a Welsh medium version of the Opera web browser as part of a wider European level project. He is the programme Co-ordinator for the Computing, ISM and Business Studies programmes. He teaches on a range of modules in the Computing area including programming, hardware and communications.

Dr Louise Emanuel is Programme Co-ordinator for undergraduate and postgraduate Tourism programmes at Trinity. She teaches on a range of modules including Impacts of Tourism, Sustainability, Policy and Planning and Tourism Contexts. In addition to her experience of research and teaching within Higher Education at Trinity, and previously, UWIC, she has also has experience of working within local government in planning and the voluntary sector in community development. She has several years experience of Project managing EU funded projects and her research interests include landscape perception and community development.

Alex Bell is a Senior Lecturer at Trinity and is the programme coordinator for the Business Information Technology degrees. Alex teaches e-business development, ecommerce, website development and research methods. His interests are in online consumer behaviour, virtual communities and networked learning. He has been involved as an external examiner at many UK Universities and plays a key role for the college in technology enhanced learning. Alex has also worked with the Institute for Educational Technology, Open University, assisting with staff development there; tutoring on the MA Online and Distance Learning and assisting many other institutions and companies at home and oversees with online learning. He is a member of The Association of Learning Technology, The International Society for Technology in Education, The eLearning Guild USA and the British Computer Society. Alex also is engaged in postgraduate research at The Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies, Lancaster, UK.
Anthony Samuel

Anthony is a Senior lecturer in Marketing and Strategic Management on both undergraduate and postgraduate course at Trinity University College. He has been lecturing for the past 6 years and holds a BA (Hons) in Business Enterprise from Wolverhampton University and an MBA from Lincoln University.
Anthony is presently undertaking a PhD at Cardiff University Business School and The ESRC Center for Business Responsibility, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS). He is researching the role of place-based communities in influencing sustainable/ethical consumption with particular reference to Fairtrade Towns. He is also an active member of the Carmarthenshire Fairtrade Steering group
Research Interests
Presently
working on a Welsh Assembly Government (Knowledge Exploitation)
research and activity project at Trinity University College. This aims
to research and develop the role of on-line social learning in engaging
small to medium businesses in Carmarthenshire in tackling climate
change.
Helen Martin

Helen has over 17 years lecturing experience on Business, Management and Public Service courses. She also has experience of working as a training officer within in a clothing factory and an electronics assembly plant. She delivers on a range of undergraduate and post graduate programmes at Trinity, teaching a range of modules including Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, Customer Care and Communication. Her publications and research interest focus on motivation and the management of change in public sector organisations.

Enid Christopher had a variety of careers before coming into teaching. From Tax officer to Insurance Underwriter, completing a qualification in programming, before having children. She has taught in the private sector as well as Pembrokeshire College, prior to Trinity. She is now a Support Tutor. She teaches on a range of modules including Developing IT Skills and Mastering the Web.
