Undergraduate Courses

Welcome

Dr Medwin HughesIn choosing a university programme, you are making a considerable commitment and investment in your future

It is a decision that we take seriously, and we promise to make every effort to ensure that your experience as a student here will help you to develop your potential to the full. We will, of course, provide you with sound academic knowledge, but we also believe that the rich diversity of cultural and social experiences you will have as a student of Trinity University College will help you to develop a range of personal and professional qualities.

The prospectus will provide you with brief summaries of our full-time and part-time courses. It also contains information on what you can expect as a student at Trinity - these are both equally important considerations when choosing a university or college.

This Prospectus also includes brief details about the possible future shape of university education in this corner of South West Wales. Trinity University College is engaged in discussions with the University of Wales Lampeter regarding the possible development of a new university that will build on the strengths of the two oldest higher education institutions in Wales. If this development goes ahead, the universities will together create a dynamic new entity which will continue to respond to the educational needs of individuals and communities in the region as well as those who come here to study from further afield. Similarly, Trinity is responding to the Welsh Assembly Government’s agenda for the transformation of educational provision post 14 by linking with further education colleges and schools across South Wales to create exciting opportunities for professional and personal development. These are all far reaching initiatives that will always focus upon the need to ensure the best educational experience for our community of students, both on and off the campus.

If you require further information on our courses or developments at Trinity please refer to our website, visit our Open Days or visit the Trinity stand at the many careers events that we attend each year.

I look forward to welcoming you if you do decide to become a student at Trinity University College.
